Use this page to describe your project(s). You want to make sure you make it very clear why people should donate to your good causes. To do that, you can use the four W’s to describe each project:
The first one is who. Who will benefit from the donations? Describe them as honestly and as clearly as possible. Tell your visitors why this cause or person is so great and deserves their help.
The second W is what. What is going on, what are the problems this cause or person is facing?
The third W is when, and this one is optional. When does the donation end? When does the fundraiser end, if you’re throwing one for one of your projects? Having a deadline can instill a sense of urgency in people, which sometimes makes it more likely that they’ll donate.
The fourth and final W is why. Why does this cause or person need help? This is an important one, and will affect how many people choose to donate. Tell donors clearly and directly why their contribution is important.
